Public sector digitalization and
e-government
Presentation of the EuropaNum Awards in the category of public sector digitization and e-government BY Philippe Vrignaud
Philippe Vrignaud, who recently retired from public service, worked for 15 years in the state’s decentralized agencies before joining the central administration in 2001, where he was in charge of several modernization and transformation programs and projects, primarily focused on digital applications (the ENTREPRISE API Platform, a one-stop shop for grants to nonprofit organizations, online civil registration services, . ...). A self-taught developer, he has spearheaded the development of several products, some of which have been rolled out nationwide. He is the founder of “demarche numerique” (simplified procedures), an open-source public platform for digitizing administrative procedures.
Dedicated to services specifically designed for administrations, this category highlights solutions that streamline citizen interaction while ensuring the sovereignty of sovereign data. Emphasis is placed on solutions that enable cross-border management of administrative files and the interoperability of European public systems.
